Derrick Nelson, PTA

Derrick Nelson, PTA

Derrick is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant graduate from Thomas Technical Institute. He has been practicing PT since 1995 mostly in Sports Medicine and Outpatient Orthopedic practice. He has been in the Newnan community since 1997. At which time, he was hired by Russell Foley, PT whom he credits for having the biggest impact on his professional career and without his mentoring, would not be the clinician he is today. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He has been married to his wife Anne for 28 years and they have one son, Derrick, who also resides in Newnan. He loves what he does and is very passionate in doing so. He looks to give back to his profession by mentoring those to come.
