Bio

Rusty received his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical College of Georgia in 2010. He joined Georgia Bone & Joint in 2013 and has a special interest in osteoporosis prevention. Rusty has vast experience as a physician assistant and prior to his arrival at Georgia Bone & Joint, worked as a PA for Piedmont Immediate Care, Team Health, The Schumacher Group, and others. He has been a certified paramedic and has worked as a volunteer firefighter in Pike County for many years. He is affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, and National Osteoporosis Foundation. He is very active and in his spare time enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and shooting archery with his children. Rusty and his family reside in Williamson, GA.
