Knee Replacement Surgery Has Christy Sheahan Back on the Tennis Court

A little over a year after Christy Sheahan had her right knee replaced, she is back to playing tennis and won the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association A-3 city championship with her tennis team.

Sheahan suffered an ACL tear in high school and developed post-traumatic arthritis in her knee, causing her to give up playing tennis in 2012 because of the pain in her knee. She was worried that she would never be able to play at the same level again.

After visiting DR. MICHAEL GRUBER, Sheahan had her right knee replaced in January of 2015.

“This has totally given me my life back,” says Sheahan. “I am back to playing tennis at the same level, plus I am quicker and feel much better.”
